Jerry completed his lighting-related studies in 1984. Five years later he joined Lightwell Lighting (Pty) Ltd. In 1992, Lightwell became part of Nova Lighting. Jerry continued working with the company until January 2000 – taking responsibility for key customer accounts and acting as a critical part of the team.
Jerry’s leaving in 2000 was to pursue his own entrepreneurial dream and to start his own business. Later that year, he registered Mandla Lighting as a close corporation and set out to make history in the sector
